I’m Jeanne Quilling, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults navigate difficult relationships, major life transitions, and decisions that can feel impossible to make.
I’m especially drawn to working with people who appear capable and composed on the outside but privately feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they truly want.
My approach is thoughtful, direct, and collaborative. I offer a private place where you can speak honestly, understand the fears and patterns keeping you stuck, and begin trusting yourself to move forward.
How I Work
I don’t believe therapy is about having someone else tell you what to do. Even well-intended advice can become another voice competing with your own.
Our sessions are conversational and collaborative. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and be direct when directness may help. You’ll have room to say the things you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else—without judgment or pressure.
We may begin with the decision immediately in front of you, but we’ll also explore the fears, relationships, expectations, and past experiences influencing it. The goal is not simply to make one decision. It is to understand yourself more clearly and develop greater confidence in the choices you make.
My Professional Journey

My work as a therapist has been shaped by a deep interest in understanding people, relationships, and the experiences that influence how we see ourselves and the choices we make.
Over more than 20 years in the mental health field, my experience has included clinical training in addiction medicine and dual-diagnosis treatment, forensic and court-mandated work, and leadership as Clinical Director of a residential treatment program for adults living with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. These settings strengthened my ability to remain calm, thoughtful, and clear when people are facing complex or consequential circumstances.
I bring experience and professional judgment to our work while remaining curious about your individual story. No two people arrive at the same crossroads for exactly the same reasons, and therapy should reflect that.
Start With a Conversation
If you’re considering therapy, you do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. I offer a complimentary 15-minute secure video consultation so you can ask questions, tell me a little about what is bringing you to therapy, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
